Fiber optic connectors are designed to connect optical fibers. They allow to switch and connect optical lines. Thanks to the highest quality optical connectors the lowest attenuation is guaranteed. Each connector is different, depending on the type of optical fiber and the size and polishing method of the ferrule. Ferrula is a tube, which is made of ceramic sinter and it is a cover and guide for optical fiber in connector.
Have been designed for telecommunication applications, where uniform connection is required. It is possible due to threaded body. The screwed way of connecting two FC type connectors gives very stable connection, which does not lose its parameters under the influence of touch or handling. Used for singlemode and multimode transmission.
