God of War Ragnarök for PlayStation 4
God of War Ragnarök is the sequel to the award-winning 2018 game God of War and delivers an epic conclusion to the Norse saga of Kratos and his son Atreus. As the prophesied Ragnarök approaches and the endless winter of Fimbulwinter threatens all realms, the two heroes embark on a perilous journey to uncover the truth about their destiny and the future of the entire world.
Kratos strives to escape his bloody past and become a better father, while Atreus seeks answers to questions about his true identity and the prophecy concerning Loki. Together, they must face difficult decisions that will affect not only their own fates but also the future of all nine realms of Norse mythology.
During your adventure, you’ll visit diverse locations across all the worlds known from Norse legends. Awaiting you are the snow-covered plains of Midgard, mysterious forests, underground realms, majestic cities of the gods, and other breathtaking environments full of secrets, enemies, and side stories.
The combat system builds on the successful mechanics of the previous installment and expands upon them further. Kratos wields the mighty Leviathan Axe, the iconic Blades of Chaos, and new abilities and attacks. Atreus also plays a more significant role in gameplay, actively assisting during combat and puzzle-solving.
The game offers a cinematic story, spectacular battles against gods and mythological monsters, a sophisticated system for gradually upgrading your gear, and dozens of hours of content. God of War Ragnarök ranks among the highest-rated action-adventure games of its generation and delivers an unforgettable adventure full of emotion, action, and epic moments.
